Monday was Memorial Day, a day to remember all the sacrifices our Veterans made so that we could be free. It was a day to remember and reflect on the past.
We honored all the brave men and women in the military, in our family, and in the community.
Reflection and remembering should not be just one day a year. There are benefits to remembering and reflecting on the past throughout the whole year.
Social Worker, Dr. Beth Plachetka from Safe Harbor Counseling and Dr. Beth Speaks explains how remembering the past offers the opportunity to accept ourselves in the present and prepare for the future.
