Safe Harbor Counseling is thrilled to share some exciting new developments and positive changes within our therapy practice. While certain aspects remain consistent, such as our dedicated team of therapists, we have some wonderful updates to share with you. Join us as we highlight our therapists, introduce a new addition to our team, discuss upcoming presentations and new ventures, and express our heartfelt gratitude to our listeners and supporters.
Safe Harbor Therapists – The Same: At Safe Harbor Counseling, we are fortunate to have a team of dedicated therapists who continue to provide compassionate care. Janet Meeks, Kim Rhodes, Wendy Peck, Kelly Hesselbaum, and myself (Dr. Beth Plachetka) remain committed to supporting our clients’ mental health and well-being. We are here to listen, guide, and help you navigate life’s challenges.
Safe Harbor Therapists – The Different: Earlier this year, we celebrated Katherine Dolewski’s decision to join a medical practice in Batavia. We wish her all the best in her new endeavor. Additionally, we are excited to welcome Elizabeth Kingsbury-Puscas to our team on June 1st. Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a background in education and grief work. From children to adults, she is well-equipped to support individuals across various age groups.
Presentations – Current: At Safe Harbor Counseling, we are passionate about spreading awareness and knowledge about mental health. You can find our presentations on platforms such as WSPY, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. We cover a variety of mental health topics, including symptoms, accessing help, causes, treatment, insurance, relationships, prevention, intervention, workplace bullying, schools, parenting, and more. We strive to provide valuable information to empower individuals and promote mental well-being.
Something new: I’m currently working on consolidating and expanding the information from our shows into a book or a series of short books. I also offer in person and online presentations. As well as sponsor CEU opportunities for professional development.
I’ve lived long enough that you can’t do everything – at least not all at once. I’m saying good-bye to WSPY…until our paths meet again. Mike Williams and I have worked on weekly shows since 2018. I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude. First and foremost, I want to thank Mike for his exceptional work and collaboration. Mike, it has been an honor and pleasure working with you. I have learned a lot about recording, and compared to you, my knowledge pales in comparison. You are knowledgeable, efficient, practical, helpful, and most importantly, you bring a sense of humor to our work together.
I am also grateful to all the listeners who have tuned in to WSPY, whether it was planned or unplanned. Being heard is the most important part of speaking, and I appreciate each and every one of you who has taken the time to listen. Your support and engagement make my work matter, and I hope that in some small way, you have heard something that helps you realize that “Your Life Matters.”
At Safe Harbor Counseling, we embrace the concept of change while valuing the continuity of care provided by our dedicated team of therapists. We are thrilled to welcome Elizabeth Kingsbury-Puscas to our team and continue our mission of spreading awareness through presentations and new ventures. To our listeners and supporters, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your presence and engagement make a difference, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve you on your mental health journey.
